History

◆ Founded in 1993 at Matou, Tainan, 2004 expand to current factory site, Kantien, Tainan,
Standard Motor Corporation (SMC) has been a leading manufacturer in Taiwan for 29 years.
◆ First Taiwan manufacturer to supply big tires for scooters.
◆ Entered 4-wheel ATV utility vehicles in 2000, the first experience from 50 to 850 cc engine in Gear and CVT transmission producer
◆ Developed Taiwan’s first 3-in-1 (CVT + Differential +Reverse) engine (patent) in 2003.
◆ ISO 9001 certified and EEC, CE, .. approval
◆ The 700cc 4×4 engine cooperation with ITRI (Industrial Technology Research Institute).
◆ Customized program of OEM/ODM requests.
◆ Self develop 750(731cc) engine in 4×4 utility and super sports ATV .
◆ Modification & Produce V850 twin cylinder 4×4 ATV.
◆ Development of 2×4/4×4 PTV type of agriculture vehicle (patent) in 2019.
◆ Development of 4×4 UTV type of agriculture vehicle (patent) in 2020.
◆ Development of EV type of agriculture vehicle (patent) in 2022.

► 2005 Developed 300 4-stroke liquid-cooled gear shift engine for Sports ATV
► 2006 Developed 300-320 4-stroke liquid-cooled engine for CVT Sorts & Utility ATV
► 2008 Introduced professional 5 speeds sports ATVs (powered by 500cc Fuji, Japan)
► 2009 Developed 700 CVT 4×4 engine (cooperated with ITRI)

► 2010 Introduced 700 4×4 Jumbo-MAX(short & long version) Utility ATV
